How gender affect communication

Gender affects communication in numerous ways.  Sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst.   Male's are generally a very laid back, calm species.  For women however, they are more energetic and precise about certain things.  For example, when I tell my dad that I'm going out with the girls, he'll ask "what time will you be home"? and that's normally it.  Though, if I told my mom that I was going out with the girls she'd ask for all of their phone numbers, where they lived, what time I was going to be home and many other questions as well.  Woman typically just want to know what's going on all around them.  Men just go with the flow and do not like too many things in detailed.  Communication I believe is really key to any relationship.  For to people to be happy they have to communicate with one another. Without communication amongst one another the world would be completely chaotic because people would be doing whatever they wanted to.  Males have a different way of communicating with one another.  Men normally get straight to the point without any questions or comments about it.  However, woman love details about everything, that's probably why woman are so dramatic. Women typically love drama, which in a way is a form of communication.  Drama all start off because of words getting twisted around, and things being said that wasn't actually said.  Where if men were in this situation they would just listen to it, and keep their mouths shut after it.  In conclusion men and woman both have different, yet unique ways of communication.
